The Competition
The Prize
The prize is £2,000 paid in 3 annual instalments at the beginning of each university year.
Eligibility
The competition is open to any UK resident aged 21 or under, who is starting a BSc, MSc or equivalent
in a "traditional" science or engineering subject, at a British university in 2010.
Eligible subjects include for example, biology, chemistry, physics, maths, chemical
engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical sciences. Combined honours including
these will also be eligible e.g. chemistry with french. Social sciences are not eligible.
We have also decided that as there are many other bursaries available for medical students, straight medicine is also not eligible. If you are not sure whether your subject is
eligible, contact us.
How to Enter
To enter the competition you will need to submit the online entry form before the closing date (see below).
We will contact both you and the Head of your Sixth Form should you provide the winning essay.

31st Mar 2010
